Mushroom tea has seen a boom in recent years, as a healthy caffeine free alternative. It is touted as a mind sharpener, immune supporter, energy booster, and stress reliever. Yet many of the other brands in the market promote themselves as health foods, with brown and green “responsible choice” packaging.
THE SOLUTION
Tapping into the heart and soul of the 1970’s allowed us to conjure the groovy associations one might have with magic mushrooms.
Because MYCO’s line includes things like mind sharpener, immune supporter, energy booster, and stress reliever, we gave each tea a name; HAZE, RYZE, GLO, MYND AND BLUM.
The branding of MYCO with its bright and inviting colors, funky typeface, and groovy logo imbues each tea with the idea of trippy fun, even if there is nothing “magic” about the product itself. This approach sets it apart from its many holistic and boring competitors, making it stand out on the shelf.
WHY IT WORKS
The interior card of the packaging couples two color pairs, a light and a dark, overlayed they give you a fun fact, a puzzle or two, and something to read, all meant to sharpen your aptitude first thing in the morning.
